Blue Force Gear Vickers SAW Sling

Blue Force Gear’s answer to the call for better Machine Gun slings. A 2-point sling design was chosen because getting a 3-point sling caught in the feeding ammo belt could cause a bad day. Same Original Metal Adjuster- CNC machined and hard coat anodized- that BFG uses in the Vickers Combat Applications Sling™. To combat the high heat expected from sustained firing, they added a Nomex® front piece to elminate the sling from burning in half. The in-line tubular pad insures that a padded surface is carrying the load even if the sling flips during use. This pad is 2.75" wide” x 18" long with 1.25" webbing designed for smaller belt-fed guns such as the Mk46 and M249 SAW.

Never fire your machine gun? The SAW sling would also make an excellent sling for a larger, heavier rifles where extra padding is desired.
