Safariland 6305 Tactical Holster With Quick Release Leg Harness

The 6305 includes all the features of the popular 6004 tactical holster, with one key addition - Safariland's new Automatic Lock System (ALS). While this model employs the SLS as the primary security system, it also includes the ALS internal locking device that retains the weapon in all directions when the primary device is open.

The 6305 provides three key design elements different than prvious models. Once the weapon is holstered, it locks into place, providing an extra measure of security for the weapon. Further, the holster is completely operable with the thum, making it very instinctive to use. And finally, once these retention devices are released, the weapon can be drawn straight out of the holster with no twisting or other motion required.

The inclusion of the SLS rotating hood system is ideal for the tactical situations encountered today. Since there is no snap, the SLS allows for a smoother single-motion draw and greater protection against attempted weapon takeaways and provides reliability in the unpredictable conditions that occur during tactical operations. The hood can only be released by simultaneously being pushed down and rotated forward and actually becomes more secure when upward force is applied.

The tactical finish protects the gun in scrape, scratch and dent incidents. Thermal-molded Safari-Laminate protects the gun and the molded sight track and soft Safari-Suede help protect the sight and finish. Key to comfort and stability of the 6304 is the double leg strap and leg shroud. The leg harness is lightweight and simple to operate. A special feature of the 6305 is the Detachable Buckle on the vertical leg strap for added versatility.
