The adapter is necessary to attach the 37CL41 STRIKE Plate Carrier Back to either the 37CL01 STRIKE Recon Chest Harness or to the 55CO00 Commando Chest Harness. One-inch side attaches to the shoulders of the plate carrier back, and the 1.5-in side attaches to the buckles on top of the chest harness. Kit has color matching buckles and is adjustable for length.
