Placing an Order

The fastest and easiest way to order from National Police Supply is to use our website, but you're also welcome to phone, fax, or mail your order to us.

All major credit cards are accepted - Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. Your card will not be charged until your order is ready for shipment.

We also accept PayPal, and you may submit payments to paypal@nationalpolicesupply.com. Please note that PayPal will debit your account or charge your credit card immediately.

Personal checks, cashier's checks and money orders are also accepted. Be sure to allow up to 10 business days after receipt for processing.

We do not accept COD orders.

Telephone Orders

Call us at (760) 599-4410, and we can take your order over the phone. Our hours are Monday through Friday between 9am and 5pm Pacific Time.

Will Call / Pick-Up

We are located in Vista, California, in northern San Diego County. Our offices and warehouse are not a retail facility, however, if you live locally, you are welcome to place an order for "will-call" pickup to save on shipping charges.

Please call ahead of your arrival so we know when to expect you.

Government / Military Orders

We accept IMPAC and government credit cards for payment. If you need a quotation, submit our Quotation Form available on our Military Customers page, or just give us a call.

Government agencies are eligible for Net 30 credit terms. Billing is upon shipment of products and payment due 30 days after invoice date.

Purchase Orders

We accept Purchase Orders from City, County, State or Federal agencies. When submitting order, please include:

  • Agency/Company name and address
  • Purchase order number
  • Telephone number and fax number
  • Purchasing contacts and telephone number (or e-mail address)
  • Shipping address
  • Purchase Order submission and/or processing requirements

Government agencies are eligible for Net 30 credit terms. Billing is upon shipment of products and payment due 30 days after invoice date.

Sales Tax

Sales tax of 7.75% will be charged on all orders shipped to California, with the exception of bonafide Federal Government agencies, and dealers who have provided us with a California resale certificate and seller's permit.

National Police Supply does not collect sales tax for other states, or on orders sent to APO/FPO addresses.

Excise Tax

Federal Excise Tax (FET) is NOT SALES TAX, it is a USE TAX (approximately 11%) levied by the Federal Government on specific products such as gasoline that also extends to firearms and ammunition. Section 4221(a)(4) of the Internal Revenue Service Code exempts all state, county and municipal law-enforcement agencies, and the United State Armed Forces from paying FET.

Orders for firearms or ammunition from governmental entities who meet that criteria are required to document that exemption by providing us with an FET Exemption Form.

FET exemption forms are valid and will be kept on file for three years if they are properly completed. Finally, please note that FET exemption does not apply to Federal law- enforcement agencies (FBI, DEA, etc.) or to individual law-enforcement officers.
